Message from the National President.

By now, you should have received a brochure extending a special invitation to attend PDI 2001 in Dallas, Texas. This PDI will be unique and stimulating. Our host chapter will be the "temporary Texans" imported from Huntsville, Alabama, and assisted by the homegrown Big D Chapter from Dallas.

The PDI will be a combination of a familiar format coupled with innovations and changes designed to increase the academic and educational content of the event. At the convention center we will have a bookstore where you can purchase the latest in management and technical books. We will also inaugurate the John Quetsch Memorial Lecture Series. The series is designed to present annually a major speaker who will deliver a memorable lecture. And, for the first time, the majority of our workshops will award Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits authorized by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). These CPE hours can be applied to individual certification and academic requirements.

We are going to have a great event in Dallas, and I hope to see you there.
