Mesa Beverage Co.

Mesa Beverage Co. of Sacramento, CA, has opened new distribution facility. After breaking ground in August of 2000, Mesa Beverage opened the doors to their new, custom designed distributorship in the West Sacramento area. The facility is a total 148,000 square feet on an 11.5 acre lot in a dedicated industrial park in the West Sacramento area. The state of the art facility has 125,000 square feet of warehouse space with computerized temperature and environmental control systems and 23,000 square feet of office space, complete with fingerprint access security, optic cable and T-1 lines and video conferencing capabilities. Lusardi Construction Company, in Northern California, designed and constructed the building. San Diego Design Interiors designed the office interior and work space. The local beer wholesaler was previously located in south Sacramento utilizing two warehouses. Mesa consolidated their operations and chose the new site because it was close to freeways and central to their distributor territory. "Mesa Beverage is committed to building our business long term in the Sacramento area," said Ron Fowler, President/CEO of Liquid Investments, parent company of Mesa Beverage. "We're proud to be a business and community partner with the city of West Sacramento and the greater Sacramento region." Established in 1998, Mesa Beverage employs over 160 employees and has annual revenues in excess of $60.0 million. Annual volume for 2001 will exceed 5 million cases. Mesa Beverage is the local distributor for the Miller Brewing Company, Heineken USA, Labatt USA, and Pyramid Breweries.
