Merideth promoted at Barton Beers.

William Hackett, president of Barton Beers, Ltd. has announced the promotion of Eddie Merideth to senior vice president/national sales. Merideth replaces Hackett, who was promoted to president in march 1993.

In his new position, Merideth will be responsible for overseeing sales efforts on behalf of all Barton brands.

Previously, Merideth was vice president of the western division. "The continuing sales growth that Barton products are experiencing in California, Nevada and Hawai is the direct result of Merideth's commitment to Barton, its products and its wholesaler family," Hackett said.

Prior to joining Barton, Merideth was affiliated with the Coors Brewing Co. from 1979 to 1985. He received a B.A. in elementary education from the University of Arizona in 1976.
