Merger of premier practioners creates family law 'super-team' K&M Family Law Solutions has merged with Harrison Clark Rickerbys Ltd.

K&M Family Law Solutions has merged with Harrison Clark Rickerbys Ltd, one of the Midland's leading firms for family law and divorce services.

K&M Family Law is a partnership between Kevin Harris-James and Michael Vale. The firm is known for its significant experience in the most complex of family and relationship issues and disputes. Both partners have previously worked for many years in leading national law firms before setting up their own dedicated family law practice.

Kevin and Michael join leading family law practitioners, Andy Caldicott and Jonathan Brew, who form part of Harrison Clark Rickerbys' family and divorce law team in Worcester and Herefordshire, and Carolyn Green who heads up the team in Cheltenham and the Thames Valley.

Harrison Clark Rickerbys inc K&M Family Law remains based in the original K&M offices in Edgbaston, which are highly accessible being centrally located and have street parking immediately outside the offices.

Kevin is a member of the prestigious International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a select group of lawyers specialising in international family law, and a former member of the Resolution International Family Law Committee. Michael Vale is a vastly experienced family lawyer and has practiced exclusively in this area of law for over 30 years, having previously been head of Family Law for a large Birmingham-based law firm.

The Legal 500 has described Michael as both "highly regarded" and "noted for his conciliatory approach". A recent Birmingham Law Society award acclaimed Michael for his "exceptional client care". He has dealt with a number of high profile financial matters. Andy Caldicott has practiced in both Harrison Clark Rickerbys' Worcester office and latterly, Herefordshire offices. Formerly managing partner of the firm, he has been with the practice for over 20 years, and is also head of the family law department.

Andy excels in all aspects of family law, mainly dealing with complex children and financial disputes, particularly those involving companies, farms and substantial pension funds. He is a member of Resolution, the Children Panel and Family Law panel, the Association of Lawyers for Children and also is able to practice civil advocacy in the Higher Courts.

Jonathan Brew joined Harrison Clark Rickerbys in June 1983 and was made a Partner in December 1983, before being promoted to Senior Partner in 2003.

Jonathan is an expert in high net worth cases often involving family businesses and farming cases, pensions, tax and valuation issues as well as arrangements for children (residence and contact).

Jonathan has previously sat as a Deputy District Judge and is a trained Family Law Mediator.

Carolyn Green is renowned as a leader within the family law field, in particular for her high asset work. Her reputation - with a track record spanning 25 years - has helped build the practice nationally including her dealings with many global disputes. She is regularly asked to produce editorial and speak at family law events.

Carolyn trained as a mediator with the British Association of Lawyer Mediators and is also a member of the Law Society's Advanced Family Law Panel.
