Mercury Interactive launches new web management systems.
Mercury Interactive Corp has launched Topaz 2.0, the latest version of its web application performance management system.
The software is designed to provide operations staff with detailed data of problems, whether they reside on an application page, network segment or server. According to Mercury the product is the first of its kind to correlate end-users' performance issues to the source of the problem.
Enhancements in version 2.0 include transaction performance breakdown, pinpointing of bottlenecks and component analysis.
Mercury is also introducing Topaz Active Watch, a hosted web performance and monitoring e-service offering all the new features of Topaz 2.0.
Topaz 2.0 will ship in June. Pricing is based on usage with subscriptions starting at USD2,495/month. Topaz ActiveWatch will also be available in June, priced from USD3,750. In addition Mercury Interactive is offering a free three-month subscription to Topaz ActiveWatch. Further details can be found at http://topazactivewatch.mercuryinteractive.com/.
