Mena Resources Inc.: Drilling Program Resumes on the Increible 6 Gold Project, Bolivar State, Venezuela.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Mena Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MEA) is pleased to announce the restart of the drilling campaign on the Increible 6 Gold Project located in the El Callao District, Bolivar State, Venezuela.

Three drills have been mobilized and are now drilling on the Project. This current phase of drilling will consist of an additional 11,000 metres of diamond drilling and 9,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling, following up on the 17,800 metres completed in 2005. The drilling will be directed at expanding the known gold mineralized zones, testing newly identified zones, and providing more detailed data within the Ingrid/Elisa Zone. Drilling will be distributed as follows;

- 7,000 metres of diamond drilling directed at expanding the Ingrid/Elisa Zone,

- 1,500 metres of diamond drilling testing for extensions to the Cristina Zone,

- 1,500 metres of diamond drilling following up positive results at the Culebra Zone,

- 9,000 metres of RC drilling completing in-fill of the Ingrid/Elisa and Cristina Zones, and

- 1,000 metres of first pass drilling on several newly defined gold zones.

The highly successful results of the 2005 drilling have been detailed in two previous news releases dated September 22nd and February 28th, 2005 and are available on the Company's website at www.menaresources.com.

Drilling will be completed by Major Drilling of New Brunswick, Canada and AK Drilling of Peru. All drilling and exploration on the Increible 6 Project, is under the direction supervision of Gregory F. Smith, Mena's exploration manager in Venezuela.

Increible 6, along with two other Venezuelan gold projects, are within a joint venture agreement between Mena Resources Inc. and Mineria MS, a private Venezuelan mining company, where Mena's 24% interest is carried through the first US$15 million in expenditures.

Qualified Person: Gregory F. Smith, P.Geo. is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 responsible for the geological data reported in this news release.
