Men's Health Week.

Numerous resources are available and events planned for this year's National Men's Health Week (NMHW), which will be from 15 to 21 June and themed 'Men and access to services'.

The Men's Health Forum (MHF) is hosting a national launch event for England and Wales with a 'balloon debate', which is expected to cover issues in an innovative and entertaining way. Speakers include Department of Health national clinical director for primary care and community pharmacy Jonathan Mason and Royal Mail chief medical adviser Steve Boorman. The event will take place at the O2 in London.

MHF Scotland will be sending out letters to members of the Scottish Parliament, NHS board chief executive officers, NHS directors of public health and gender equality leads to raise awareness of health issues faced by men in Scotland. It is also organising its fourth 10k run.

The MHF in Ireland is planning ways to mark this week and will provide further details on its website. For further information, see: www.mhfi.org
