Memorabilia firm is in the picture thanks to Special Investment Fund; IN ASSOCIATION WITH Rensburg sheppards.

A COMPANY selling highquality rock music memorabilia has received backing from Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF).

Liverpool-based Blow Up Press is the sister company of Big Blue Tube, which has successfully traded in limited edition, signed sports memorabilia for more than six years.

Both Blow Up and Big Blue Tube are run by father and son team, Colin and Matt Wilkinson.

The projected turnover for the first year of business is pounds 180,000, increasing to pounds 500,000 over the next three years.

Staffing levels are expected to go from two to six.

Blow Up Press received a pounds 30,000 investment from MSIF's Small Firms Fund to cover start-up costs.
