Membership benefit: association-sponsored insurance plans.

ATEA is a member of the Trustee for Insuring Educators (TIE) which consists of 50 plus associations pooling their memberships to achieve buying power for competitive insurance plans and rates. Administered by Forrest T. Jones & Company, these plans offer ATEA members individually tailored plans at group rates. Listed below are some of the plans available to ATEA members.

Life Plans: Accidental Death and Dismemberment protects you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for covered accidents anywhere in the world in addition to any other insurance you may have. With the 10-Year Level Term Life, you decide how much protection you need, from $100,000 to $1,000,000. Term Life coverage is available up to $750,000 at great group rates.

Health Plans: Disability Income Protection plan covers when you cannot work. Cancer and Long Term Care Insurance are available for you and your family members. The Comprehensive Health Plan includes health savings accounts, family PPO and group employee health options.

Professional Liability Plans--$1 million/$2 million: Enjoy protection from the high costs of lawsuits due to your activities as an education professional.

Auto Insurance: Geico Direct offers discounts to association members in most states in the U.S. Visit www.geico.com for a free rate quote.

ID Theft Service: ID Theft Assist offers several plan options for individual and family members.
