Among the 250 guests at the 15-story residence was Richard Meier, award-winning master architect and designer of the stunning new building which is his first Brooklyn project.
Joining Meier in the celebration were Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz, Arnold Lehman, director of the Brooklyn Museum and Cheryl Nielsen-Saaf, senior vice president of Corcoran Group Marketing, as well as members of the construction, development, creative and sales teams responsible for the project, family and friends. On Prospect Park is destined to become an architectural icon and the premiere luxury residence in Brooklyn. It affords breathtaking views of a quintessential Brooklyn neighborhood through the lens of Richard Meier's classic modernist architecture.
Located at 1 Grand Army Plaza, one of Brooklyn's most prominent sites, On Prospect Park takes its place among nearby prominent architectural structures, the Brooklyn Public Library and Brooklyn Museum. Located on Grand Army Plaza, home to the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, On Prospect Park overlooks the entrance to Prospect Park, a 585-acre urban oasis designed by noted landscape architects Frederick Law Olmstead & Calvert Vaux and home to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
