Mega Mirror: Odds-On Favourite.

FANS of the Oddworld games can look forward to a stack of new titles.

American developers Oddworld Inhabitants plan to create five games which started with the '97 smash Abe's Oddysee.

The next game in the series will be Munch's Oddysee which will run on next-generation hardware, probably Sega's new Dreamcast console.

Munch's Oddysee will be bigger and more detailed, but the storyline promises to be just as gripping as the first saga.

Abe's pal Munch looks like a cross between a rabbit and a catfish and, like Abe, he's on a mission to rescue his friends.

The current Oddworld hit Abe's Exoddus is a bonus game in the series.

And a series of spin-off games starring the Oddworld characters such as racing sims, role-playing games and strategy titles also looks likely in the future.

Lane Lanning, Oddworld Inhabitants President says: "Like Star Wars, Oddworld is well-thought out with an interesting cast. Anything is possible."
