Meeting discusses expeditious recruitment by KP Public Service Commission.
PESHAWAR -- A high level meeting regarding strengthening of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) was held here Wednesday with senior Minister Local Govt Inayatullah Khan in the chair.
The meeting discussed the recruitment process under KPPSC and expressed dismay over delay in recruitment process by the commission due to different complications.
The meeting decided to improve the capacity of the commission for expeditious recruitment in government departments. Apart from this a Sub-Committee was formed to review the legal and departmental problems that cause delay in the recruitment process and submit a draft proposal to remove those issues.
The Sub-Committee would be headed by Provincial Minister for Finance and Secretary Establishment, Health, Law and ST and IT would be its members.

Mushtaq Ghani said that the KP government has full trust in the commission, its capabilities, role and transparency; however, it intends to make the recruitment process speedy so that the educated youth could be inducted in government departments for better output.
The Minister for Local Government Inayatullah Khan observed that due to certain problems the recruitment process by the KPPSC was subjected to continual delay. He said the government wants to make the legal process ease for expeditious recruitment process and ensure recruitments within months instead of years or year.
Inayatullah Khan said that the KP government was taking pragmatic measures to improve the performance of the government departments for transparent and fair system in the province.
