Meet the staff.

Betsy Beckwith joined the League staff in May as the halftime advocacy specialist who coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Public Advocacy for Voter Protection project and serves as liaison to the six participating state Leagues. She is conducting issue-specific research, coordinating activities and encouraging inter-League discussion on targeted issues. Betsy brings to the project more than 15 years of policy development, advocacy and project management expertise, with an emphasis on state and federal government relations. She has a BA in Biology from Wells College in upstate New York and an MPA from George Washington University. Betsy is excited to help the Leagues protect voters' rights.
