Meet the ice stars.

Byline: CATHERINE JONES

AN unforgettable night is promised as Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland' Adventure at Liverpool's Echo Arena. And for one lucky family of Daily Post readers the memories will go on and on.

In a competition to celebrate the arrival of the long-awaited new show in Liverpool, today we're giving away a glittering prize of a family ticket for four people to the opening night, plus the chance for them to meet and greet some of the show's stars.

Produced by Feld Entertainment, Disneyland' Adventure features an array of favourite Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Baloo, Snow White, Cinderella, Stitch, The Incredibles and Buzz Lightyear.

In this spectacular production, the "Fabs" - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto - decide to take a vacation and enjoy Disney's popular theme park attractions, resulting in a series of comical mishaps. But it's no laughing matter when the evil fairy Maleficent shows up. Mickey must enlist The Incredibles to help save the day!

Skating in to the Echo Arena Liverpool from March 2-6 , this is a fun-filled adventure for all family.

Producer Kenneth Feld, said: "Children and adults will find this ice adventure familiar and surprising at the same time."

Every element of the show, from the dazzling skating to the amazing lighting and vibrant costumes, was designed to capture the fun, nostalgic atmosphere of Disneyland in the early 1960s. Tasked with ensuring the show's authenticity, each member of the creative team approached the challenge with a unique perspective.

Director Patty Vincent said: "I went to Disneyland for research, it turned me into a kid again, and I wanted to give everyone in our audience that same feeling."

Creative Director Jerry Bilik sought to capture favourite memories from the Disney parks, but added new twists by incorporating Maleficent and The Incredibles.

He said: "This show is designed for people of all ages. Interwoven into the parade of attractions and characters are moments of subtle humour for adults, physical comedy, groovy music, and some creepy thrills the entire family will enjoy.".
