MediaSpan Posts Strong Summer for System Start-ups.
MediaSpan, in Ann Arbor, Mich., and Melbourne, Fla., performed 51 software installations in July and August.
The Spectrum, Gannett Co.'s daily in St. George, Utah, installed both the IQue editorial system (44 seats) and AdManagerPro (36 seats). Other newspapers that went live with IQue were: the Aiken (S.C.) Standard; Newfoundland's The Western Star, Corner Brook, and The Telegram, St. Johns; Tennessee's Daily Post-Athenian, Athens, and Daily Beacon, Knoxville; New Mexico's Gallup Independent, Roswell Daily Record, and Las Cruces Sun-News; Hannibal (Mo.) Courier-Post; The Daily Dispatch, Henderson, N.C.; The Jonesboro (Ark.) Sun; Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Tupelo; and The Vicksburg (Miss.) Post. Going live with MediaSpan Media Software ad systems were single publications in Pennsylvania, California, Florida, and Georgia; two each in Indiana, Kansas, New York and Ohio; three each in Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska; and four Texas titles. Circulation systems went into the Journal World, Lawrence, Kan., Marion (Ind.) Chronicle-Tribune, Ogemaw County (Mich.) Herald, Shippensburg (Pa.) News-Chronicle, and Taos (N.M.) News. The Chattanooga (Tenn.) Times Free Press, Pittsburgh (Pa.) Catholic, and The Quincy (Ill.) Herald-Whig installed MediaSpan production software.
