Media Sciences promotes Lawrence Anderson to SVP, COO.

Media Sciences International, Inc. announced the promotion of Lawrence L. Anderson to senior vice president and COO. Mr. Anderson will report directly to Michael W. Levin, Media Sciences CEO and chairman.

As COO, a newly created position within the company, Mr. Anderson is accountable for the performance of all operational areas, including R&D, quality assurance, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, facilities, inventory control, purchasing, technical support and information technology.

Mr. Anderson's senior operations experience includes roles as vice president, worldwide operations for Katun Corporation, and vice president, manufacturing/operations for WatchGuard Technologies Inc. Mr. Anderson joined Media Sciences in June 2005 as vice president of operations.

"The establishment of the position of chief operating officer is a direct result of our company's growth," Mr. Levin said. "Mr. Anderson's proven success in related senior operations management roles makes him the right person to assume this critical position."
