Media & Marketing: Seal wins pitch to promote arcade.

Birmingham-based Seal Communications has won a five-way pitch to promote a shopping centre in Cheltenham.

Seal will oversee all advertising and design work for the Regent Arcade shopping centre.

Located in Cheltenham town centre, Regent Arcade has more than 70 shops including Mothercare, TK Maxx, Faith Shoes and BHS.

Seal's brief is to raise awareness of the arcade and the many new retail outlets it has among shoppers in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

Seal, with offices in Edgbaston, reports to the retail marketing division of Donaldsons, responsible for the management of 2004/2005 marketing requirements for the shopping centre.

Kelly Reed, Donaldson's regional account executive for retail marketing, said: 'We were extremely impressed with Seal's creativity and enthusiasm which is just one of the reasons we appointed them.

'Their highly talented team leapt to the top of our shopping list following their creative marketing proposals and a review of their successful portfolio - we're all looking forward to exciting and successful times at the arcade.'

One of Seal's first projects has been to launch a summer campaign to include ads, leaflets, posters and radio promotions.
