Me and Orson Welles (Sky Movies Drama & Romance, 8pm).

SET in 1930s New York, this film follows teenager Richard, who dreams about becoming an actor.

He gets a chance when OrsonWelles offers him the role of Lucius in his production of Julius Caesar, but Richard''s big break may not be all that it seems.

Not only is he distracted from acting by a frosty production assistant, who seems to be sending him mixed messages, but Welles turns out to be a less than ideal boss, and his tyrannical behaviour leaves Richard questioning his ambitions.

He may be a 21st-century pin-up, but High School Musical star Zac Efron seems right at home in this period drama - in fact, with his matinee idol looks and song-and-dance skills, he probably would have had an even more impressive career in that era.

He''s a charming presence in this likeable, if lightweight, drama, although Christian McKay''s Orson Welles threatens to steal the film.

The production of Julius Caesar is real, but the part of Lucius was actually played by Arthur Anderson.
