McGRAW-HILL NAMES FRITZ LANDMANN VICE PRESIDENT, GROUP PUBLISHER FOR COMPUTER MAGAZINES

 NEW YORK, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw-Hill, Inc. (NYSE: MHP), today named Frederic H. (Fritz) Landmann, vice president and group publisher for the company's computer magazines. McGraw-Hill's computer titles are among the most respected in the industry, including BYTE, LAN Times, UnixWorld, Data Communications and Netware Technical Journal.
 Mr. Landmann was with International Data Group since 1986, most recently as senior vice president responsible for global development of publishing properties. From 1987 to 1991, he was president and publisher of IDG's Computerworld, and from 1986 to 1987, president and publisher of IDG's Federal Computer Week. Earlier, Mr. Landmann was national sales director of Guest Informant in 1986; and publisher of Computer Design magazine at Penn Well Publishing from 1984 to 1986. From 1978 to 1983, he was president of Fritz Landmann Associates, a strategic planning and development firm, and from 1982 to 1984, he published Ivy Sports, a newspaper. Mr. Landmann was with ITT Corporation from 1972 to 1978, as group director of Marketing, ITT Publishing and president, ITT Transportation Displays.
 A graduate of the Wharton School from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in economics, Mr. Landmann is a member of the board of directors of the American Business Press.
 McGraw-Hill is a worldwide publishing and information services company. Sales for 1992 were $2.05 billion.
