McDONNELL DOUGLAS NAMES THOMAS P. TSHUDY ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL

 HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonnell Douglas has promoted Thomas P. Tshudy to the position of assistant general counsel. In his new role Tshudy will provide legal support to the company's space and electronics programs.
 Tshudy began his career with McDonnell Douglas in 1989 as a senior attorney at McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co. His most recent position has been senior counsel in McDonnell Douglas' space transportation activities, supporting both government and commercial launch programs. Prior to joining the company he held a variety of positions in the United States Air Force.
 Tshudy received a bachelor's degree in political science with high honors from Pennsylvania State University in 1979, and in 1983 was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law.
