McClellan Manor Sold

The former home of bankrupt developer John McClellan and his ex-wife Dale recently changed hands in a $355,000 deal.

Delta Life & Annuity Co. in Memphis sold the 5,536-SF residence in The Ridge subdivision after gaining title to the property in a $349,000 foreclosure suit against the McClellans.

The new owners are Dr. James Suen, UAMS professor and surgeon, and his wife Karen. They financed $245,000 through a 30-year note with First National Mortgage Corp. in North Little Rock. Prior to their acquisition, the Suens sold their 3,250-SF Foxcroft residence for about $165,000.
