McClaren's woe.

Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren admits to growing frustration at seeing so many of his players fall by the wayside this season.

There is the prospect McClaren will be without 10 first-team players for the Riverside visit of Southampton tomorrow, with Tony McMahon the latest to join a growing injury list.

McMahon limped out of Thursday's UEFA Cup defeat by Sporting Lisbon with a knee problem.

Also out are Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Mark Viduka, Michael Reiziger, Ray Parlour, Ugo Ehiogu, Gaizka Mendieta, George Boateng, Malcolm Christie and James Morrison.
