McCLURE ELECTED A CORPORATE OFFICER OF JOHNSON CONTROLS

 MILWAUKEE, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles G. (Chip) McClure has been elected a corporate vice president of Johnson Controls Inc. (NYSE: JCI), the company announced today.
 McClure, 39, is vice president and general manager of the company's automotive seating operations in Europe where it operates 24 manufacturing facilities.
 He was previously vice president of North American seating operations and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility since joining the company in 1983. He reports to John Barth, executive vice president.
 McClure holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
 He and his family live in Dusseldorf, Germany.
