McAfee announces availability of Virex 7.6 for Macintosh.

(NYSE: MFE), a provider of intrusion prevention and risk management solutions, has announced the availability of McAfee Virex 7.6 for Macintosh. The product offers small to large businesses centrally-managed virus protection for their Macintosh OS X systems.
The product's new functionality includes an agent that communicates with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, for centralised system security policy configuration and enforcement, and detailed reporting that enables businesses to manage their Virex-protected clients.
Users can implement real-time prevention of viruses, worms, Trojans and other malicious code threats, with Virex and the product is controlled and monitored through McAfee ePO, a centralised management system designed for the requirements of small-to-medium businesses or large distributed enterprises.
