Mayfair hotel offering some long-term leases.

The Mayfair Hotel on Park Avenue at 65th Street, one of New York's finest European-style hotels, is now offering long-term leases for a select group of

one-, two-and three-bedroom residences. All suites are graciously furnished and include butlers' pantries or small kitchens. The two- and three-bedroom suites feature woodburning fireplaces.

A full complement of hotel services are provided to all long-term residents, including fresh flowers, twice daily maid service, 24-hour golf and fitness facilities, 24-hour room service including specials from four-star and star-studded Le Cirque Restaurant, 24-hour white-gloved elevator attendants, 4-line telephones in every room - including the bathroom - with data port for tax and pc capabilities, 24-hour concierge services, discreet and efficient hotel security, full business services, and more. Long-term residents also enjoy complimentary local telephone usage.

Pricing information is as follows: One bedrooms begin at $120,000 per year; Two bedrooms begin at $165,000 per year; Three bedrooms begin at $185,000 per year. There are 20 residences available.

The Mayfair was built in 1925 and completed a $30 million renovation in 1990.

Owned by Heitman Financial Ltd. of Chicago, the hotel is under new management and will soon be called The Mayfair Hotel Baglioni. The co-management team, replacing The Regent, is made up of Heitman Financial Ltd. and Cogeta Palace Hotels of Italy. Cogeta manages 12 hotels including The Mayfair; the other 11 are in Italy.

The Sunshine Group, Ltd., the exclusive leasing agent for The Residences at The Mayfair, expects them to appeal to out-of-town executives and corporations with businesses in New York, individuals with multiple residence, diplomats on extended missions in New York and individuals between home purchases.
