Matthew Wright's column: O 'ELL O 'ELL; Two-timing Bill star Mark is booted out after wife discovers his double life.

E'LLO, e'llo, e'llo... now what's going on here then?

Star of The Bill Mark Wingett has been kicked out by long-term girlfriend Sharon Martin after she discovered he was leading a double life with another woman.

Reformed alcoholic Mark, who plays PC Jim Carver, has been with Sharon, the mother of their six-year-old daughter Jamila, for more than 12 years.

But Sharon didn't know he'd been flitting between her and fire-eater Yvonne Williams, declaring his love for both of them.

Distraught Mark is currently bedding down with The Bill co-star Russell Boulter at his house in South London.

Friends fear the situation could lead to Mark, 39, falling off the wagon.

He battled with booze addiction for years, but beat his habit six years ago with the help of Sharon and his TV colleagues.

Yvonne spilled the beans about her steamy relationship with the star when he told her he was planning to have another baby with Sharon.

She stormed: "I left my husband to be with him. I really thought he wanted to be with me.

"He said he was planning another baby with Sharon, but then he said he could never give me up." The romance started when Yvonne, 35, appeared as an extra on the ITV cop drama.

After several weeks, Sharon found out about the affair but Mark managed to convince her it was over.

When she discovered he'd secretly continued the relationship with Yvonne, Sharon blew her top.

A friend says: "She sent him packing immediately. She couldn't believe that he had betrayed her twice.

"Mark desperately wants to patch things up with her, but Sharon isn't in the mood for sorting things out at the moment.

"He's in a bad way and realises he has been very stupid indeed. Mark hopes that Sharon will forgive him.
