Matsushita Electric Works Confirms That Long-term Use of Heat Steam Facial Equipment Helps Improve Aging Skin.

Tokyo, Japan, Sept 15, 2005 - (JCNN) - Matsushita Electric Works (MEW) has announced the results of its verification test of facial equipment with a heat steam generator. In collaboration with the Tokyo Dental College Ichikawa General Hospital, MEW conducted a half face test using the facial equipment on 12 women aged from 35 to 47.

In the test, the women treated half of their faces with heat steam for 10 minutes a day. After four weeks, the research group comprehensively examined the skin condition based on diagnosis by dermatologists, self-evaluation, measurement of epidermal hydration using cutometer, and the VISIA complexion analysis.

The group has confirmed that the continuous use of heat steam helps improve the skin vitality and minimize the appearance of pores. Further, the group has concluded that the use of facial equipment will be effective to treat aging skin.
