MathWorks, a developer of mathematical computing software, reported today the availability of MATLAB Coder, designed to enable design engineers to automatically generate readable, portable C and C++ code directly from their MATLAB algorithms.

According to MathWorks this new product removes the need to manually translate MATLAB algorithm code into C and C++ code for prototyping, implementation and software integration, resulting in a faster, more efficient system-development workflow.

MATLAB Coder is available immediately and list prices in the US start from USD6,500.
