Masters of pharmacy; Picture special.

HUDDERSFIELD university is celebrating a "coup" with the launch of a pharmacy course.

The university has enrolled its first undergraduates on the new Master of Pharmacy degree (MPharm).

The course is full, with 65 students.

In their first week at Huddersfield, the chemists were addressed by Gill Hawksworth, visiting professor to the university and former President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB).
