Master Beveled may run twice this week.
Trainer David Evans is considering saddling Master Beveled for the Axminster 100 Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton on Thursday, before a possible tilt at the Select Hurdle at Haydock on Saturday.
Last season, the nine-year-old chased home I'm Supposin in the Kingwell Hurdle and was second to Red Blazer in the Select.
Evans said yesterday: "There's no I'm Supposin in the Kingwell this time and it looks winnable, but the only thing about Wincanton is that I think it's a bit tight for him.
"I could do the two races again. If he runs on Thursday Glenn Tormey will ride, but on Saturday Jamie Spencer will take over; he's banned on Thursday. I've also entered Master Beveled in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham."
Master Beveled is one of 13 Kingwell possibles.
Others include Pridwell, Fataliste, and Tote Gold Trophy hero Decoupage.
