Mass wedding event held.

LAHORE -- A mass wedding ceremony of 24 couples was held under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation here on Sunday.

Among the 24 couples, one belonged to the Christian community.

Supreme Council Chairman Dr Hassan Mohiud Din presided over the ceremony, provincial ministers Dr Yasmin Rashid and Ijaz Alam, MPA Ayesha Nawaz, Jahan Ara Wattoo and others attended the event.

Dr Rashid lauded the services of Dr Qadri for religion and humanity and said despite various kinds of sacrifices, Minhaj workers were still in high spirits. Ijaz Alam said helping weaker sections of society is the greatest service.

Dr Hassan said the Minhaj is working on great spiritual teachings and traditions of brotherhood and confraternity and that by arranging the mass wedding the Foundation performed its religious, moral and national duty.
