Marketing Directors head south.

The Marketing Directors, Inc., which merged with California-based The Ryness Company last spring, is continuing its expansion by opening a Southeast regional office in Atlanta.

This new venture, known as The Marketing Directors LLC Southeast, a Ryness Company, will be headed by David Tufts, founder of Coldwell Banker The Condo Store, and a former Marketing Directors employee. Betty Harbourt, former executive vice president of Coldwell Banker The Condo Store, will join Tufts as executive vice president.

The Marketing Directors Southeast will provide strategy, marketing and sales services to the increasing number of developers and builders in Atlanta's condominium market, as well as other cities in the Southeast, helping to conceive, create and sell innovative concepts for all types of new residential property, including single-family homes, condominiums, condo conversions, urban high-density, adaptive re-use and high-end resort communities.
