Marketing & PR: Specialists join forces to win Baxi contract.
Direct mail and fulfilment specialist, Trapeze Mailing Services and direct marketers, Connect Direct, have been appointed to handle the Baxi Fires Division (BFD) account.
Working together, Connect Direct will take inbound calls, handle web enquiries and data capture postal requests, manage BFD's marketing database and issue leads to the BFD dealer network.
Trapeze will fulfil consumer brochure requests and dispatch bulk orders for literature and merchandise to the BFD dealer network.
BFD is the UK's largest fire manufacturer, supplying products under the Valor, Baxi, Wonderfire, Aarrow and Morso brands. The group supplies an extensive range of products including real flame gas fires, stoves, electric flame effect fires and wall heaters.
The company's marketing communications manager, Alec Longhurst, was part of the decision making team which appointed the two companies. He said: 'Following a lengthy pitch process we selected the combined resources of Trapeze and Connect Direct for their sheer professionalism and quality of internal systems.'
