Marketing & PR: Marley builds on campaign by HRO'C.

Birmingham marketing group HRO'C has been appointed by Marley Building Materials to produce creative material for a range of above and below the line campaigns for the company's market leading Thermalite brand, operating in the building blocks market.

The first campaign has kicked off with two ads designed to communicate the sound insulation properties of Thermalite, which meet new Government legislation known as 'Part E'.

The ads are tailored to the main specifiers and users of the building blocks, namely architects, builders and contractors who will be directly affected by the new regulations.

Already the concept for the latter has been followed up with a co-ordinated direct mail project with similar plans for direct marketing activity to target architects and specifiers early in the new year. The ads appear in the leading Building and Specifier trade magazines over an initial four-month schedule.

We were looking for an agency that could deliver highly creative work,' said Marley's market manager Jayne Ford.
