Marketing & PR: Holtom holds the Key to Severn Trent campaign; Water wonders: Team bids to raise company's profile.

Key Communications has won a three-way pitch to provide business to business communications solutions for Severn Trent Water.

Severn Trent supplies domestic water services to 3.2 million homes in the Midlands region and non-regulated services to businesses in the UK and worldwide.

The business division provides a range of specialist industrial services ranging from environmental consultancy to data monitoring.

Key Communications' brief is to implement a strategic PR programme to promote Severn Trent's business to business water supply and waste management services.

The Key team is being led by account director Gill Holtom, with the support of account manager, Louise Price, account executive, Debbie Hall and media consultant, Christine Warren.

With a background in utility sector marketing, Gill Holtom is looking forward to the challenge of raising the profile of Severn Trent. She says: 'We are working in partnership with them to design and implement an innovative integrated campaign across a range of vertical sector markets where water services are essential - from food and drink manufacturing, to the chemical and leisure industries.

'Many UK businesses are now being affected by a raft of new water regulations and environmental legislation which should make for an exciting and hard-hitting campaign.
