Marketing & PR: Delegates cross the borders.

The cross-border nature of public relations was under discussion in Birmingham last week at a seminar hosted by Birmingham-based Wyatt International.

The marketing communications agency hosted the first 'excellence in international PR' conference for members of INBA, the International Network of Business Agencies.

The conference was the brainchild of Wyatt International managing director Karen-Anne Bernie, who in October takes over as president of the INBA network.

This will be the first time that a British executive has held the position since INBA's foundation in 1963.

The organisation has member companies in 50 countries.

Delegates - all managing directors or divisional heads - to the Birmingham conference came from as far afield as Japan, the USA and Canada, to discuss different aspects of PR and media practice around the world.
