Spokesman Matthew Ellis said: "To be able to welcome such a renowned teacher and conductor as Mark to the orchestra is a wonderful opportunity for us. It will be a wonderful way to kick off what promises to be a special year for classical music in 2013."

He continues: "Wrexham now has three top quality amateur orchestras with the Cambrian, Wrexham Symphony and the NEW Sinfonia. This showcases the talent we have."
