Maribor fear Hibs stars up the Ante.

MARIBOR assistant manager Simundza Ante admits his side are running scared of Hibs strikers Derek Riordan, Anthony Stokes and Colin Nish.

Ante ran the rule over the trio in Hibs' 1-1 draw with Vitesse Arnhem on Saturday and is also impressed with their scoring record in the SPL.

Easter Road boss John Hughes is unlikely to name all three forwards in tonight's Europa League third-qualifying round first leg in Slovenia.

But former marksman Ante reckons the trio pose the biggest danger to his side and has his players well warned.

He said: "The main threat is Riordan, Stokes and Nish. They score the most goals for Hibs and I think they're the most dangerous players.

Prepared "They also have winger Danny Galbraith who played against Arnhem and I think he is very good.

"We will try to do everything to make sure we don't concede a goal against them.

"We have prepared like we do for our normal games although we know this is a European tie so it will be much tougher.

"We have watched the video we got from the Arnhem game. We've been through everything and know what we have to do. We are ready for them."

Former Slovenian internationalist Ante is preparing for a tight contest and added: "I think our chances of going through are 50-50."
