Marguerite Bartz.

The Catholic Extension Society, which offers financial support to poor and isolated dioceses in the United States, has established a fund named for Blessed Sacrament Sr. Marguerite Bartz, who was murdered last November during a robbery of her home in Navajo, N.M. Bartz had served St. Berard Parish in the Navajo nation since 1999. The new fund "will help women religious provide services and establish programs in America's mission dioceses, geographic regions where the Catholic church is growing and the needs are great," according to a news release from the extension society.
