Maple Brown Ale is first Michelob seasonal.
"Seasonal beers give us the opportunity to provide specialty beer drinkers with a continuous variety of all-natural, quality beers, and we look forward to additional seasonals joining the Michelob specialty ales and lagers family," said Bob Franceschelli, senior brand manager for the AnheuserBusch Specialty Brewing Group. "With its full body and slight sweetness, we think that Maple Brown Ale is the perfect beer for the fall and winter months."
New England maple syrup is used in the beer, which is brewed at A-B's Merrimcak, NH brewery. The brand will be sold in 12-oz. six packs and on draught in 1/6 and 1/2 barrels. Pricing will be set at "premium plus" levels.
