Manulife Investments declared on Thursday the quarterly cash distribution of CAD0.125 per unit of the Oil Sands Sector Fund (TSX:OSF.UN).
The distribution will be paid on 15 July 2015 to unit holders of record as of 30 June 2015 and the company said that a unit holder who has continually held units since inception, will have received a total of CAD0.40625 per unit, as of the payment date.
A Canada based investment company, Oil Sands Sector Fund manages a portfolio of equity securities of participants in the Canadian oil sands sector with the balance of the portfolio of other issuers in the energy sector. Its investment advisor is AGF Investments Inc that provides investment advisory and portfolio management services.
Manulife is a Canada based financial services group with principal operations in Asia, Canada and the US. It operates as John Hancock in the US and as Manulife in other parts of the world and its assets under management together with its subsidiaries were about CAD821bn, as of 31 March 2015.
