Academy Poly Supplies of North Bay is establishing a manufacturing plant to produce polypropylene products for the office supply market.

The South Korean-owned company will produce an assortment of file folders for markets in Canada and the United States, and the plant is expected to create 37 full-time jobs in North Bay.

The capital cost of the project is $4.5 million, including an $801,600 contribution from FedNor's core industrial program.

Equipment is being shipped from Korea and is expected early this month.
