Following the recent scandal concerning the Macedonian Encyclopedia, Katerina Blazevska writes in Dnevnik that, had the members of MANU been real academicians that remain true to their position, they would not have behaved as tailors that change the pattern at someone's order or under pressure. Blazevska notes that, had they been real academicians, they would have dissolved MANU as a failed society of deceased apologists and they would have joined their fellow pensioners in a game of chess in the city park. Did they not learn a lesson from the fate encountered by their Serbian colleagues, who served "the academician Milosevic" unreservedly and "in a scholarly manner", the author asks.
