Manners please.

I READ about the problem in Amwaj of jet skis (GDN, May 13). I'd also like to share a worst problem I experience in Durrat Al Bahrain every weekend.

Here it's not only jet skis that you have to be worried about driving annoyingly in residential areas, you can also see speed boats, and some fishing boats. They're racing each other and you can't even relax in your garden because of the noise.

Even if you complain a hundred times the management doesn't do anything about it, they will just say "ah we have a plan for this issue in the future, we are going to put signs.. etc." but until now none was implemented.

Honestly, I could say that Durrat is almost a paradise to stay in Bahrain, but during weekends this problem begins, you'll even see the road gets congested due to some "show off", I don't know what to call them. They'll stop in the middle of the road once they see a friend walking and greet each other in the middle of the road, they don't know how to care about who or what is behind waiting for them to end their talking. These people aren't disciplined.

Here, the noise on the roads during weekends reminds me of somewhere in undeveloped countries during bazaar days, too crowded and noisy.

I think the management couldn't do anything about it, but it's the people that need proper education and some good manners.
