New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh reviewed Satyam case with cabinet colleagues here last evening.

External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P Chidambaram, Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath, Corporate Affairs Minster P C Gupta and Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia attended the meeting.

After the meeting P. C. Gupta said that they are looking at different possibilities.

"We appraised the Prime Minister and other Ministers of the situation and what action has been taken; what is being done and what will be done," said Gupta.

Earlier, Manmohan Singh met Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman C.B. Bhave and other senior government officials to review the situation arising out of the Satyam fiasco.

Dr. Singh has already asked Cabinet Secretary K.M. Chandrasekhar to co-ordinate the different steps being taken to help the company overcome the crisis.

Meanwhile, the government ordered the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) to probe the Satyam scandal. The SIFO will submit its report in three months.

The probe has been ordered after receiving a report from the Registrar of Companies (RoC) in Hyderabad, which inspected the books of accounts of Satyam Computer Services and eight other companies belonging to the kin of the former chairman B Ramalinga Raju. (ANI)
