Manitoba Immigration Council.

CSAE Fellow M. G. (Ron) Britton, P.Eng., has been appointed to the Manitoba Immigration Council. The 12-member council advises the Minister of Labour and Immigration in Manitoba on issues associated with immigration. This appointment grew out of work associated with the Internationally-Educated Engineers Qualification Program in which the faculty of engineering at the University of Manitoba works with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba to assist foreign trained engineers in gaining academic recognition as they work toward their professional engineers license.

Britton is associate dean for design education and a professor in the Biosystems Engineering and Civil Engineering Departments at the University of Manitoba. He is a 39-year member of ASAE.
