Indonesian carrier Mandala Airlines has announced plans to increase its flight frequency to 14 destinations by up to 20%.

From 20 November the airline will increase its operations, raising its seats from 9,300 to 11,068 daily, in anticipation of an increase in the number of passengers during the holiday season. The airline will also replace its 100-seat Boeing 737-200 aircraft with 167-seat Boeing 727-200 aircraft to serve the busier routes.

The carrier has not specified how long the new timetable will remain in effect, reported the Jakarta Post.
