Manager out at fight club; Sport shorts EVO-STIK CENTRAL.

DAVID Holdsworth has left his managerial post at Goole just days after sacked defender Karl Colley's altercation with a visiting fan.

Goole assistant manager and former England Under-21s international Curtis Woodhouse has been put in caretaker charge, but the club insists the former Ilkeston, Mansfield and Lincoln manager's departure is an "unrelated subject" to the Colley incident.

Colley stormed into the supporters' section after being sent off in Saturday's Evo-Stik South league clash with Coalville at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds.

A video of the incident - which came 19 years to the day since Eric Cantona's infamous assault on a Crystal Palace fan - appears to show the defender make three attempts to fight with a visiting supporter.
