Manager in pub gun raid terror.

THREE men wearing balaclavas men entered the bar area of the Shilton Arms in Shilton, near Coventry, carrying crowbars and a gun.

The man with the gun pointed it at the manager and demanded money from the safe.

The manager was led upstairs by the gunman, and cash from the safe was emptied into a carrier bag before the robber went downstairs and told the manager to open the cash till.

Cash from the till was then emptied into the carrier bag. The three robbers walked out and a car was heard making off. The incident happened at at around 1.15am on Sunday.

A police spokesman said all of the offenders were wearing black jackets and balaclavas. Rugby CID is investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to call DC Tim Rogers on 01788 541111.
