Man who raped prostitute twice told he faces long jail term.

A MAN who raped a prostitute has been warned that he faces years behind bars.

Neil Chubb, 26, was found guilty by a Liverpool Crown Court jury of raping the 34-year-old woman twice aft During his trial, Chubb, of Lower House Lane, Norris Green, also changed his plea to guilty to assaulting a 16-year-old girl with intent to commit a sexual offence.

Mr Baxter said on February 19, Chubb made sexual comments to a 16-year-old girl at a bus stop in Sheil Road and threatened to knife her.

The court heard she tried to get away but he grabbed hold of her neck and said he would stab her.

The girl shouted for help and two people came to her aid.

After Chubb was convicted of raping the prostitute, Judge Denis Clark remanded him in custody and told him he would sentence him to a lengthy jail term on September 8.

Judge Clark also praised his victim's courage in coming forward to offer evidence for the prosecution against Chubb.

"It was very brave of her to come forward and give evidence," he said.
